As some of you might have heard, Wayne Thunder of the seminal Boredphucks/Suns passed away in his sleep the night before.

I never knew Wayne personally but his performances for the Suns never cast a shadow of doubt on his moniker - he was Thunder and he lived up to his name, and I consider myself immeasurably lucky to have been able to witness Wayne and the Suns perform. In his personal life Wayne was known to have been earnest and passionate - his unfortunate passing coming amidst preparations for the eagerly anticipated Rock for Good concert.

For those of you who knew him, or were a friend of Wayne's, there will be a service held at St Joseph's Church from 8pm. Our condolences to Wayne's friends and family, from all of us at Unpopular Radio.
